Austin Heart is the largest cardiology group in Central Texas with over 45 physicians, 20+ midlevel providers and 200 employees. We have been serving the community for over 25 years in our 12 full time offices covering a service area of the size of the state of Maryland. Austin Heart offers comprehensive clinical services including a robust research program.
The office is located in Harker Height Texas serving the residents of Bell and Coryell Counties. The population has grown to a point where it needs more cardiologists to support the community. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician to join a successful cardiology practice working with three quality cardiologists – Drs. Adolph Mares, Richard Olstein and Randy Mccollough.
The cardiologist will see office patients at our Harker Heights office. This office provides stress tests, echo, and stress echo, vascular diagnostic studies, nuclear stress imaging, holter monitoring and event monitoring along with consultative services. The cardiologists may be involved with one outreach clinic similar to the other physicians in this office.
The cardiologist will work in the 83-bed Seton Medical Center – Harker Heights. There are 120 physicians on the medical staff with 35 specialists. The hospital has a 24-hour emergency room with full complement of non-invasive imaging (ultrasound and nuclear) services along with one cardiac cath lab and one interventional suite. The hospital census will range from 5 to 15 patients daily. The cardiologist should be skilled in both coronary and peripheral interventional cardiology.
As a 24-hour/365 day business, effective medical coverage is critical to our success. Our call coverage program will be one every four weeknights and one every fourth weekend.
