Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking candidates for a Rheumatologist with a strong interest in teaching, clinical research and patient care.
This is a full time faculty appointment with Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine in the Section of Clinical Immunology, Allergy and Rheumatology. As a University employed faculty member, you will receive a negotiable salary and academic appointment commensurate with experience, and a fully comprehensive benefits package, and relocation allowance.
This position includes appointments at Tulane and Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System in New Orleans. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient consults and outpatient clinics at Tulane and the SLVHCS.
The individual selected must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible/Certified in Rheumatology. Candidates must have academic credentials to be qualified for a faculty appointment and meet the requirements for Medical Licensure in the state of Louisiana. This position requires expertise in patient care, medical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills, systems-based practice, practice-based learning, and professionalism.
