Job Summary

The University of South Florida in conjunction with HCA’s Blake Medical Center, a level II Trauma center, is seeking an additional BC/BE Trauma & Critical Care Surgeon to join our team. You will receive an excellent compensation package including first year guaranteed base salary with WRVU production bonus as well as full comprehensive benefits. You have the opportunity to be employed as an academic faculty member in the Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida through HCA Physician Services Group. Academic appointment via USF will be at the Assistant, Associate or full Professor ranking depending on your experience and qualifications and experience. Successful candidates must be BE/BC with fellowship training in SCC and/or Trauma and a Florida Medical License will be required prior to assuming the position.

Blake Medical Center is a ACS verified level II trauma Center covering Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto Counties with 1450 admits per year, 92% blunt cases. This is an acute care model covering trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care.
