Job SummarySt. Lucie Medical Center is looking for a Chief Medical Officer.
Reviews cases referred by hospital personnel. A review consists of medical record review and attending physician contact as needed. Monitors physician compliance to assure proper documentation in the Medical Records.. Shall call and discuss each case, referred by hospital personnel, with the attending physician when inpatient stay is no longer warranted. Shall assist with educational efforts for Hospital employees and Medical staff members on resource management, practice patterns, outcomes data.
An ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Recent inpatient experience and BC iis required. Candidates must have recent direct patient contact.
This is a hospital employed, 100% Administrative position.
