In 1993, the operating assets and name of Rapides Regional Medical Center were sold to Central Louisiana Healthcare Systems Partnership. We have an immediate need for an Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing group practice in a Tort Reform State! Rapides Regional Medical Center is actively seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join a very successful group practice with two other Cardiologists. Call will be shared equally, 1:3. The group practice was established in 1994, and they are offering partnership opportunity as well. The patient base is approximately 450,000, and growing, making this an exceptionally stable, lucrative and long term opportunity. Our 328-bed facility is a Certified Stroke Center and includes The Rapides Heart Center, strategically located with access readily available to emergency helicopter, ambulance transport, emergency department, surgery, intensive care and telemetry units. We practice a comprehensive approach to treating heart disease through diagnostic testing, cardiac catherization, heart surgery and cardiac rehabilitation. The economic forecast of the hospital is great with an additional 26 beds to the Emergency room completed in early 2017. Louisiana is a Tort Reform State (capped malpractice claims), which makes this a very physician friendly practice opportunity.
