Job Summary

Rapides Regional Medical Center is actively recruiting a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join another in a very busy, successful, existing group practice on the campus of our Women’s Hospital. The new physician will share call with the other OB/GYNs in the practice, 1:4, and there is also a Nurse Practitioner who assists with call. The economic forecast of the hospital is great with a 50 million dollar expansion which we completed several years ago, making us the premier hospital in the central Louisiana region. Louisiana is a Tort Reform State (capped malpractice claims), which make this a very physician friendly practice opportunity. Benefits of the opportunity include no capitated insurance contracts, little managed care intrusion, large medical society, safe neighborhoods with housing styles ranging from eighteenth century to modern construction. A strong primary care referral base and medical staff combine to give the new physician an opportunity to build a very successful practice - very quickly. We will provide a competitive financial package, including a first year salary guarantee with incentives, overhead expenses, benefits, malpractice insurance, relocation and many more perks. As a member of a HCA hospital staff, physicians have access to the latest technology and state of the art equipment. This is a great opportunity for a motivated OB/GYN to practice in the lovely area of central Louisiana.

Interested applicants should submit a CV and cover letter to: Christa Reynolds, Physician Recruiter at Christa.Reynolds@HCAHealthcare.com. Applicants will be accepted until qualified candidates are identified. AA/EOE. This position does not qualify for Visa sponsorship.
