Excellent Opportunity for Breast Surgeon in Premier Metro Denver Hospital

The Medical Center of Aurora (www.auroramed.com), a well-known Denver Metro institution with a longstanding reputation for excellence, is seeking an ambitious leader who will help to grow our breast program. The Medical Center of Aurora is recognized by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC).

Fellowship training in Breast Surgery is preferred. Experience with intraoperative radiation therapy preferred. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to excellence, a team player and a passion for program development.

This opportunity offers:

• Experienced, collaborative surgical colleagues; excellent general surgery backup; no general surgery call
• Total devotion to the care of breast cancer and benign breast problems
• Well-established program infrastructure that includes: 25 years of caring for complicated breast patients, affiliation with the Sarah Cannon Oncology Network, access to Phase 1 clinical trials, full time dedicated breast oncologists and radiologist, as well as full time genetic counselors and a Patient Nurse Navigator
• Multi-disciplinary clinics which include Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists and Navigators to improve patient experience and physician collaboration
