Job SummarySwedish Family Medicine Residency (SFMR) in conjunction with Swedish Medical Center is currently recruiting a Family Medicine physician to join their fully accredited program as a faculty member. SFMR is a Level III NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home located in south metropolitan Denver, Colorado.
SFMR is a community-based 6/6/6, fully accredited residency program that is affiliated with the University of Colorado Department of Family Medicine. SFMR features a unique longitudinal curriculum that incorporates strong inpatient, outpatient and obstetrical care over all three years of training. Faculty members are dedicated, energetic, and have a passion for teaching. Faculty members participate in the full spectrum of family medicine clinical activities, including outpatient care, inpatient care, obstetric care and overnight and weekend call.
The preferred candidate will have previous teaching and obstetrics experience, but all well-trained, board-certified family physicians with an interest in developing a faculty career will be considered.
Swedish Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 368 licensed beds, a Level I Trauma Center, and serves as a regional referral center for neurotrauma and stroke.
