Pediatric Nephrology Medical Directorship

Wesley Children’s Hospital announces a new Medical Directorship for Pediatric Nephrology. In 2018, the successful candidate will oversee a newly expanded and upgraded 6 chair ESRD and provide inpatient coverage for pediatric and neonatal patients. The Medical Director will enjoy the support of private practice adult Nephrology practice and with some call support from community physicians. A collegial team of hospital-employed Pediatric subspecialists and a large and loyal pediatrician referral base will eagerly welcome the addition of a Ped Nephrologist to the medical staff. Wesley Children’s Hospital is a 45 inpatient bed facility, adjacent to Wesley Medical Center which delivers more than 6,000 babies annually. 85 bed Neonatal bassinets (35 of which are NICU) attest to Wesley’s popularity as “The Baby Hospital” in Wichita. This regional referral center draws from 2/3’rds of Kansas and parts of contiguous states.

Clinical Faculty Appointment available at KU School of Medicine with 15 residencies including Pediatrics, IM/Ped and Family Medicine.
