Job SummaryGrand Strand Medical Center is currently seeking a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist in Myrtle Beach. This is a ground floor opportunity to start up this new Radiation Oncology Service Line! A brand new “State of the Art” facility is slated to open 1st quarter of 2018 and will house our new Varian®TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and GE Discovery RT CT Simulator. We will be an ACR accredited facility offering comprehensive radiation therapy services. This is a solo opportunity with backup coverage provided via locums.

The Comprehensive Oncology Program at Grand Strand Medical Center will include - thyroid/parathyroid, breast surgery, medical oncology, colorectal surgery, gynecologic oncology. Accreditation for Oncology Program includes COC, NAPBC, and ACR. GSMC offers a Lung Cancer Screening Program, Hereditary Cancer Clinic, and dedicated oncology nurse navigators and has held an "A" grade leapfrog ranking for the past several years.
