Job SummaryHCA West Florida is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to serve as a Core Faculty member of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida. Position combines clinical and administrative duties. Physician will work in the residency's Continuity Clinic on an Outpatient basis teaching residents. Administrative time will be reserved for the non-clinical GME duties required for Core Faculty appointment. This is an HCA Employed position and offers a competitive compensation structure and excellent benefits package including PTO, CME, 401K, Stock Purchase Plan, etc.
We are looking for physicians with a passion for teaching and academics! Previous experience teaching in an ACGME-Accredited residency program is preferred. Qualified Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and have or are able to obtain a Florida Medical License. Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations highly encouraged to apply.
