Job SummaryRocky Mountain Pediatric Gastroenterology (RMPG), a private group affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist with liver transplant experience to join our group of seven pediatric gastroenterologists and 4 physician assistants.
The ideal candidate will be:
• BE if recently trained, experienced candidates must be BC
• Have clinical experience in pediatric transplant hepatology
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
RMPG serves a seven-state region, including Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming and sees over 12,000 outpatient and 3,000 inpatient visits per year.
Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC) is a leader in caring for high-acuity fetal, neonatal, and pediatric patients and expanded to a free-standing facility in 2011. This unique facility offers patients and their families all the advantages of a large specialty medical center, while providing all the specialized services of a children’s hospital.
RMHC also provides Colorado’s largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This position will work closely with the Presbyterian St. Luke’s / RMHC Transplant Center. Our program surgical director was a member of the first team to perform living donation pediatric liver transplant, and has since performed over 100 pediatric live donor liver surgeries and 500 pediatric liver transplants as primary surgeon.
