Job SummaryThe University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine in partnership with Osceola Regional Medical Center is seeking a board certified General Surgeon, who is interested in being a key part of the development of general surgery residency with educational support to a new ACGME Surgery Residency Program.
• Board Certification by the American Board of Surgery.
• Surgical training from accredited program.
• Educate residents in state-of-the-art care.
Candidates with recent scholarly activity such as publication of research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks, publication or presentations of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educational organizations are highly encouraged to apply.
The Faculty member will be based at Osceola Regional Medical Center, but will have faculty appointment at UCF if qualified. The UCF Health Sciences campus, located in Lake Nona, includes state-of-the-art medical education and research facilities.
