Job SummarySheridan Healthcare and HCA are partnering at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, GA to build a Pediatric Hospitalist program to serve their community. We are looking for candidates who are at least 2 years post-residency and are comfortable covering the Pediatric floor, newborn nursery, attending deliveries, and stabilizing patients prior to transport. Candidates should be NRP and PALS certified. **A Medical Director position is also available, which carries a full-time clinical schedule and a leadership stipend.
Details about this opportunity include:
• 24-hr call with 30-minute response time (8a-8a)
o In-House during the day for rounds/discharges
o On-call from home at night
• 22-bed Pediatric floor
• Consults to the ED
o 8,000 – 10,000 annual ED visits (13% admitted to floor)
o 1,100 births annually
• Newborn Nursery
