Job SummaryIn conjunction with Emcare Acute Care Surgical Services, HCA Memorial Hospital is building their trauma team and are seeking additional providers to join this team.
Undesignated (Level II application in process)
12 hr primary in-house coverage, plus 12 hr secondary call from home with 15 min response (rarely called in)
26 OR’s (1 trauma designated)
Annual Trauma admissions projected: 800+ (conservative)
Trauma service covers minimum 10 days/mo emergency GS call
ED Volume: 100k; 56 ED beds
Trauma Surgeon Criteria:
Board Certified Surgery with Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Required
Willingness to work at on-site clinic for post-op follow up visit

As a level II trauma center Memorial will ensure that our community has access to the critical trauma care it needs when emergency strikes.
