Practice Opportunity

Austin Heart has 45 cardiologists in 12 locations. Our central Austin office is the largest of our twelve office locations. It is located on the third floor above the Heart Hospital of Austin – a facility totally dedicated to the treatment of heart and vascular disease. The cardiologist would spend approximately four days per week at the Heart Hospital office and one day doing outreach clinics in other Austin Heart offices. The cardiologist would be on call once every fifth weekends and two weeknights per month covering two main hospitals – the Heart Hospital of Austin and Seton Medical Center. The group has an active research program and desires a cardiologist to be actively involved in the program.


Summary

This is a wonderful practice opportunity for a fellowship-trained Cardiac MR cardiologist to have a vibrant practice in a growing community with the most prestigious cardiology group in Central Texas. This is an opportunity to start and grow and program while doing general cardiology work. It would be a plus for the cardiologist to have TEE skills and nuclear board certification.
